Read this carefully. PKR 51.6 lakh rides on one word. The university says students are eligible for a ¥20,000 scholarship each year — not that it is granted. Granted every year, the six-year total is ¥253,500 (PKR 1.09 crore). Not granted, it is ¥373,500 (PKR 1.61 crore). Quote the higher figure, because that is the number the family must be able to pay in year four. If the scholarship comes through they are better off than planned — which is the right way round.
