Scholarships, honestly
Yes, scholarships exist. No, none are guaranteed.
Here is exactly what each university offers. We quote every degree total without a scholarship — because not one of them is promised. If it comes through, you're better off than planned.
| University | What is offered |
|---|---|
| Shandong First Medical University Taian · BDS | 10 seats: nos. 1–5 get ¥15,000, nos. 6–10 get ¥5,000. Criteria and deadline not published. |
| Hebei University of Engineering Handan · MBBS | None offered. |
| Shandong First Medical University Taian · MBBS | None offered. |
| Shandong Second Medical University Weifang · MBBS | ¥500 per month for 10 months, selected students only. Number and basis not published. |
| Shanxi Medical University Taiyuan · MBBS | ¥15,000 per year from year two, to 30% of students. If granted, the six-year total is about ¥128,700. |
| Harbin Medical University Harbin · MBBS | None offered. |
| Capital Medical University Beijing · MBBS | Students are eligible for ¥20,000 a year — not granted. If granted every year, the total is ¥253,500. |
Why we quote the full amount. A scholarship you might get is not a price you can plan around. Where a scholarship exists, we tell you the criteria if the university publishes them — and most do not. The number a family must be able to pay in year four is the full fee. If the scholarship lands, that is a bonus, not a budget.
The one exception worth knowing: Shanxi Medical offers ¥15,000 a year from year two to about 30% of students; if granted, the six-year total falls to roughly ¥128,700. Seven students in ten will still pay the full amount — so that is the figure we quote.
